After a few days of spiritual preparation
in church, members of the Legion of Mary
finally celebrated their tenth anniversary on 17th July,
2009 with a Thanksgiving Mass .
Fr . Edward was the celebrant of the Holy Mass which started at 7.30 pm. It was attended by the Region members
and other members of the church. The silence of the church and Fr. Edward’s
homily prompted the congregation to pray earnestly for grace from our Lady. The
members also swore in to be faithful members of the Legion of Mary, for the word " Legion " means "Army "as Fr. Edward
reminded us in his homily.
After mass, there was a photo taking session and light refreshments in the convent to make the day complete.
