Recently, the Region of
Mary and the Prayer Group from St.Mary's Church Sandakan paid a visit to the Region
of Mary of our Church. They stayed overnight
in Mr.Chin Sin Fui’s house, about ten of them,and were given lunch and dinner by their
host and hostess. At night, they had special dinner too with Fr.Yap and few other members.
The next day after the
Holy Mass, led by Mr. Chin Sin Fui, they visited
places of interest, such as Tanjung Mengayau and the beaches around.
The happy visitors went back in the afternoon.

Happy birthday, Sr. Brigid,
Last night. 15thJune 09, we, members of the church and Region of Mary
celebrated Sr. Brigit’s 72 birthday at Mr. Chin Sin Fui’s house.
There were the usual luscious
food and cutting of cake to make Sister’s birthday a joyful one. However, there was a black out during dinner, so we had candle light dinner instead. But the light came out miraculously just when we were about
to take photo and cut cake. What a surprise for all !
